TRINAMIC offers unique IP and sound experience in the area
of motor control and single-axis/multi-axis motion control. Supported motor technologies cover stepper motors, BLDC motors, servo drives and Piezo motors.
TRINAMIC's product portfolio includes standard products and custom solutions. TRINAMIC customers benefit from the company's extensive knowledge of motor physics and its library of intellectual property (IP), built over nearly 20 years of applications experience.

TRINAMIC offers:
- Board level design/product design based on Microsemi FPGAs (IGLOO, ProASIC3, SmartFusion) for motor and motion control applications. Experience covers FPGA design, bus interfaces, µC programming, analog design, product certification, and prototype and volume production.
- Free IP to support the interfacing of TRINAMIC's range of motor drivers.
- Licensed IP of TRINAMIC's motion controllers (i.e. TMC428, TMC457) for applications, where this IP needs to be embedded in Microsemi FPGAs—including military and aerospace applications.
- Design services with a focus on SmartFusion devices.
The TRINAMIC TMCM-AC-840 Daughter Board Kit connects to either the Microsemi SmartFusion Development Kit (Revision C and later) or to the SmartFusion Evaluation Kit or Dual Motor Control Kit and enables testing and prototyping for motor control and motion control application scenarios on your benchtop.
